HOTEL, MIKE was founded by Harriet Murphy, our metaphorical BOTANIST travelling across the world to collect RARE new specimens. We study, harness and replicate the best of nature, without depleting its resources. We exist to find new ways to interact with the planet, HARMONIOUSLY and in the spirit of ADVENTURE.

Biotechnology allows us to recreate powerful natural ingredients without negatively impacting our planet and oceans. Biotechnology uses bacteria, plant cells and yeast to produce the same properties as natural active ingredients, minimising the impact on the environment and producing actives with better quality control.01.

UPCYCLING
All Hotel, Mike products have been cold pressed. Cold pressing is significantly better for the environment than heat or chemical extraction methods, as it doesn't produce chemical waste and requires less energy.04.
COLD PRESS
Hotel, Mike cartons are fully recyclable made from FSC card printed with sustainable kelp ink. The Hotel, Mike aluminium bottles infinitely recyclable.The Hotel, Mike pump is a part of the product we know we can improve, we are constantly looking at new innovation. As a brand we experimented with mono-plastic recyclable pumps, however, they weren’t reliable and kept breaking. As soon as we come across an improved solution we will be swapping out our existing pumps.05.
PACKAGING
Our factory is a certified CarbonNeutral site, all electricity is from renewable sources generated by wind, solar and hydro assets.06.
